South Fork and Soo Much MOre!

I went to South Fork and stayed a few days...

I got so much more than I bargained for... Lake City, Creed, Pagosa Springs and Everything from Manitou to South Fork, which is quite a bit ... since it's Colorado and EVERYWHERE is SOMETHING..

I'm throwing them all together here....

On the way into the cute South Fork, quaint little town in the middle of nowhere and right before you get to Pagosa Springs or Wolf Creek Ski Area.. This area of Colorado gets the most snow of any other and I've heard the skiing there is good but wouldn’t know!

On the way to Creed, the town just over from South Fork, the Rio Grande sits next to it ~

This is called Cottonwood Cove an amazing Blip in the Road.. and AMAZING is somewhat understating such a small place, sat by a river and hidden among, well, cotton woods, it is a stunning place to stay. I think they sell their cabins there as well.. ??

Mountains as far as the eye can see... Pictures don't do it justice.. Just can't be said enough!!

Just Past Creed is North Clear Creek Falls, It is a Creek, That Falls! And I am super glad that it does!

A look out, just up from it, offers just an endless view....

 CREED
( Silver Mining Town :  Off Season Population 200 On season 5000 to 7000 ... It has a road through the Mines called Bachelors Loop and it is quite the drive with more stellar views... )

LAKE CITY

It is stunning from this view, which had a very inconspicuous designated sign to turn off, so if you are ever go, look to the left when you start the decent and if there is a sign for viewing, go!

Because you never know when you need to use the tele!
It was really fun seeing this in the middle of nowhere !

PAGOSA SPRINGS

I'd heard of it but going in the Fall I think had to be the best time to be there E.V.E.R! It is absolutely Stunning~ Definitely Bring Your Camera!!!

There is a Treasure on the way, It's called Treasure Falls coincidentally!

Totally lived up to the Name.. the Hike to the Right is the Best!

All Still Pagosa...

Just a few I took on the way home.. somewhere between Pagosa and Manitou Springs..

The Deckers Fire being exstinguished..

One of two helicopters pulling water from a nearby pond to take back to the fire..

Hope that helps show a little of what you'll get when there. There is nothing like going for yourself~
