There are times you book a trip in a trip and in the haste you forget to pack the right lenses. In those times you are just thankful the lens you have will do the trick for some amazing shots like these!
THE AMAZON WAS AMAZING!
We took this boat through a canal to get to the lake we are on here , after hiking in a few miles of jungle. We had been hiking for days by this point and were ready for a break. We had no idea what was in store but were pleasantly surprised to find that once we arrived we had hammocks and downtime.
Truly a vacation from our vacation and that was just what we needed!

The porch which was the center of our world for the next three days.. lined with hammocks and surrounded by free roaming chickens and ducks..relaxation at its finest as far as we were concerned and especially after climbing for days.
Night rides on the lake gave us a chance to see Monkeys playing in the trees and early morning rides gave us the chance to see otters playing in the water and alligators as well as a hike that included tropical beards.
